Kingson Mold and Machine was founded in 1977 by Jack and Greg Rex, a father-and-son team, in Brea, California. For over 40 years, Kingson has been developing liquid silicone rubber mold making solutions for clients in the medical, aerospace, automotive, electronic and consumer industries. Kingson offers an integrated suite of services, including part design, design prototype tooling, production tooling and pre-production tool prove-out.

Our capabilities extend to a variety of molds, including compression, transfer, injection, liquid silicone, cold deck system, heated platen, and many other types. The services we offer include turnkey projects, prototyping, mold trials, mold overhaul and maintenance. We strive to provide each client with personalized attention and expertise, and create an exceptional product using precision tools and advanced technology.

History

Kingson Mold co-founder Jack Rex began his career in the mold manufacturing industry in 1949, spending 11 years in the field before moving on to the core pin business. In 1977, Jack and his son, Greg, started Kingson Mold in Fullerton, California, and moved nearby Brea the following year.

In 1979, Jack and Greg purchased their first CNC mill and lathe, then bought their current building in Brea in 1991. Kingson Mold is still a family-operated business, and what started as a two-man shop now is run by Greg’s daughter, Kaci Miller, who works with a team of 30 employees.

Kaci has worked diligently to keep the company on the cutting edge of the industry, and as a result, Kingson Mold embraces new technology as well as new means and methods while keeping its history in the forefront. Old-fashioned honesty, integrity and first-class customer service have made us an industry leader in mold manufacturing, and those will continue to be our trademarks in the next generation.
